PPA Grand Imaging Awards - Architectural Photography

Published March 9, 2015 -- The Professional Photographers of America‬ Grand Imaging Awards were held recently in Nashville, Tennessee. Over 10,000 photographers took part in the 3 day event. The awards are over for another year and the team at Anna Beaudry Photographic Design is thrilled to announce some exciting news:

This image, Penthouse Perspective, was honoured as a top ten finalist in the Commercial category!

Penthouse Perspective was created for Tom Bakker Design and Meridian Pacific Construction. These dynamic renovation partners created a fantastic makeover of this Vancouver condo to showcase the magical view of English Bay.

It was a tricky room to photograph though. For this architectural photography project, we needed to maintain neutral whites amongst differing light sources. We also had to minimize reflections on that wall of windows and balance the interior and exterior light levels. Tight teamwork and valuable expertise paid off to have this photograph score so well!

It's truly humbling to be recognized along with such talented photographers. Thank you to all the judges and we offer our sincere congratulations to all the winners!
